This position is an opportunity for you to lead a team of financial aid professionals who are critical to fulfilling the educational mission of the College. Financial aid is designed to supplement the financial resources of our students and thus enable each of our students to achieve his/her educational & career goals.
As the Director of Financial Aid (DFA), you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of your department. As DFA, you will report to the Campus Director and actively participate as a member of the College’s management team. You will be responsible for administering federal, state and institutional programs of financial assistance, determining aid eligibility, processing student financial aid and maintaining compliance with all governmental and agency funding requirements.
What will you do?
Recruit, train, supervise and manage a financial aid staff of three to four.
Oversee federal, state and local financial aid regulatory requirements as they pertain to the US Department of Education, State Department of Education, and the Accrediting Commission. .
Coordinate the activities and services of the financial aid department with the admission and recruitment goals of the College.
Qualifications, skills and professional experiences you will need:
Five (5) or more years experience in the administration of federal student financial aid programs;
Management & Supervisory experience;
Proficiency in federal verification procedures, determining financial need, student eligibility, return to federal funds calculations, professional judgment determinations, processing Federal Direct Student Loans, maintenance of NSLDS and managing Federal Work Study program;
Excellent customer service and organizational skills;
Attention to detail and the capability to multi-task;
Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of Campus Vue helpful, but not required.

We are currently seeking someone to oversee the daily maintence of our 2-building campus.
The ideally qualified candidate will be a self-motivated individual who can see where the problems are and correct them in a timely and effective manner.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and construction repairs and improvement, troubleshooting of minor issues as they arise, as well as various projects as they come up.
