St. Paul's School of Nursing, located in Flushing, New York, is currently accepting application for full-time  and part-time Med/Surg Nursing Faculty,to teach in our Associate of Degree Nursing program.

 

This position reports directly to the Nursing Program Director.  The Nurse Educator is responsible for teaching assigned courses, as it relates to the nursing program, to include both theory and clinical, fundamental of nursing and med/surgical nursing.   Additional responsibilities include, planning learning activities to meet the program outcomes based on the standard set by policies, regulatory requirement and acceptable practices.  

 

 

Master Degree in Nursing required.  Must have current unencumbered RN license in New York.  Excellent communication, organizational skills and prior teaching experience preferred.

Adjunct Computer Instructors | Location: Staten Island, NY

St. Paul’s School of Nursing in Staten Island seeks Adjunct Computer/Electronic Health Records Instructor  .  The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the Computer classes and the ElectronicHealth records classes and will be accountable for:

 

           Teaching Computer 1 and 2,and Electronic Health Records  courses offered in the     

            Medical Assistant  department.  

           Preparation of Educational and program materials

            Ensuring effective delivery and continuing improvment of the curriculum

           Designing and ensuring the upkeep of classrooms and laboratories

           Ensuring a high level of student satisfaction, certification, and job placement

           Participating in the development of the program budget

 

 Instructors must hold, at a minimum, (1)a Bachelor’s degree ( 2)Additionally, instructors must possess a Masters degree (3)  occupational experience in the subject field .;
