Assistant Director of Financial Aid | Location: Baltimore, MD
The Financial Aid Office at Medix School West is seeking an energetic and personable professional to assist students in financing their education. The qualified candidate will serve as the liaison between the institution and the Department of Veterans Affairs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree and at least 3 years of progressive experience in customer service and the administration of financial aid funds, including loan processing, awarding and disbursement of funds. Knowledge of VA education benefits eligibility as well as experience with the online VA benefits school certification process is required. Candidate must be familiar with Federal regulations, including Title IV eligibility and withdrawal processes. Excellent customer service and organizational skills are a must-have. An individual in this position is responsible for recruiting and selection of qualified applicants for admissions to the Health & Technology campus of Medix School in Towson, MD. The admissions representative (AR) must manage his/her time and inquiry resources to achieve as many productive candidate contacts as possible. The AR is also responsible for completing appropriate follow-up to assure successful matriculation and is accountable for monthly enrollment and start rate goals.
