English Instructor | Location: Miami, FL 33144
Technical Career Institute is seeking a General Education Instructor of English.
The English Instructor will be given the opportunity to instruct students ensuring student satisfaction through classroom or according to the course objectives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Teach English Composition and Writing, Oral Communications from approved curriculum and lessons plans
· Motivates students to participate in all aspects of the educational process
· Participates in school retention initiatives by providing regular, accurate attendance records daily, calling students who are absent and recording absentee information on a roster after each class and communicating attendance “concerns” to the DOE
· Perform other duties as assigned by DOE
· Availability for day and/or evening classes may be required

Requirements:
· Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 15 credits in English courses and 15 credits in Communication courses
· Teaching experience preferred
· Excellent interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills
· Ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles, methods in delivering course material to accommodate diverse learning styles of students
· Mastery of the English Language
Career Services Director | Location: Miami, FL
Miami Career School is seeking a high energy; detail oriented and motivated Career Services Director. This individual will be responsible for career and employment assistance for all students/graduates to ensure placement goals are met. Outstanding communication, organizational and follow up skills are also necessary. Responsibilities include: Provide career assistance through workshops, or personal advisement in general career exploration, decision-making, resume writing and job search skills; Develop and maintain active and positive relationships with employers to ensure significant jobs for graduates; Organize and maintain detailed employment information on all graduates and track placement rates for each program; Cultivate relationships with all school and corporate personnel. College degree preferred: Will train qualified individuals.
