Assistant Financial Aid Director | Location: Baltimore, MD 21224
This position is an opportunity for you to be a key member of a team of financial aid professionals who are critical to fulfilling the educational mission of All-State Career Schools.
As a key financial aid manager, you in conjunction with your Director will be responsible for the delivery, direction, coordination and evaluation of the financial aid services of the schools financial aid services. Your responsibilities will include administering the federal programs of financial assistance, determining aid eligibility, processing student financial aid and maintaining compliance with all governmental and agency funding requirements.
This position oversees federal, state and local financial aid regulatory requirements as they pertain to the US Department of Education, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools, colleges of Technology and Education Affiliates. Duties will also include providing all of the financial aid services needed by new and active students to secure the grant and loans needed for financing the costs of their program of study during school.
Qualifications, skills and professional experiences you will need:
· Three (3) or more years experience in the administration of federal student financial aid program
· Management and Supervisory experience
· Proficiency in federal verification procedures, determining financial need, student eligibility, return to federal funds calculations, processing Federal Direct Student Loans, and maintenance of NSLDS
· Excellent customer service and organizational skills

ALS Coordinator | Location: Essington, PA 19029
The ALS Coordinator is responsible for the Paramedic portion of the program. This individual will report directly to and work closely with the EMS Director to coordinate, improve, progress, and evaluate the Paramedic Program. The ALS Coordinator will teach within his/her scope of practice, coordinate class schedules with the Clinical Coordinator, and develop ideas for program improvement, in addition to the maintenance and improvement of the program at the classroom level. The education of the student is the in the hands of the educator who train them. Curriculum, staffing, and environment aids in the quality of education the student receives. As the ALS Coordinator, you must continually monitor the performance in all areas of the ALS Department to ensure the students are being educated to the best of your ability.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Demonstrate administrative qualities and set a positive example for the EMS Department regarding professionalism, punctuality, student relations, and classroom instructions
· Serve as a mentor for faculty, staff, adjunct instructors, and guest speakers
· Maintain course consistency by reviewing syllabi, course schedules, presentations, and lesson plans and presenting ideas and issues to the EMS Director for revision
· Counsel students on the Paramedic program level in regards to attendance grades, academic and practical skills, behavior, and/or professionalism
· Document and present appropriate documentation to the EMS Director for review
· Perform inventory of equipment, service records, and present items for ordering to the EMS Director monthly
· Assist with the coordination of the comprehensive EMS externship program by meeting with the Clinical Coordinator in advance to discuss student concerns, extern site concerns, and future scheduling
· Assist EMS Director in maintaining and obtaining appropriate accreditations documentation including but not limited to academic records, clinical records, attendance records, and clinical information
· Participate in and develop student activities
· Attend Advisory Board Meetings as required

· Assist and communicate directly and regularly with the EMS Director in regards to updates, concerns, issues, and questions

Requirements:
· Associate’s Degree in Health Science, Administration/Management, Specialize Technology or related field. It is required that the ALS Coordinator be working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science, Administration/Management, or related field.
· Valid PA EMT-P certification and valid National Registry Paramedic Certification
· Current Health Care Professional CPR certification, valid EMS Instructor Certification, ACLS Certification, PALS Certification, ITLS/PHTLS Certification, and EVOC Certification
· Minimum of five (5) years EMS experience (ALS preferred)
· Prior post-secondary related teaching experience of at least two (2) years is required
· Administrative supervision of EMS Personnel in an educational capacity or pre-hospital capacity of at least two years
· Valid Driver’s License
· Proficient in reading/language skills, interpersonal and written communication skills, computer and technology skills
